Where has 2013 gone??

Oh my, we are already at the END OF MAY!!!  This year is flying by.  So sorry I have been in a slump of not posting.  Life doesn't slow down often enough to find the time to post.  So, while my computer does my work for me, I decided to take the time to actually update everyone on the first 5 months of 2013.

January-March were super busy work wise for me....I think there was a stretch of a month and a half where I didn't have 1 single day I didn't do something for my job.  During that time, Tanner and I managed to find some time to play co-ed softball two nights a week.  Our Tuesday night team reclaimed 1st place once again, and we are currently on track to do it again this season!!  Debbie aka "Grandma" came to visit for a week in April...what a wonderful time it was!!  She came to watch Landon for us for a whole week while my parents went on a mini vacation.  We celebrated Tanner's 29th birthday in April as well.  Landon is of course walking/running and learning new words every day.  Some of the words we are still trying to figure out, but he will sit there and carry on a conversation with you even if you don't have a clue what he is saying :o) Tanner is now hitting his busy season at work with LOTS of testing.  He is currently commuting to Dallas for 2 weeks, and then we will go on a tiny getaway with my family to Broken Bow, OK.  Once we get back, he is headed up to Minnesota for quite a few weeks to do testing up there.

The Last 3 Months Catch Up

So, as you can see from the title of this post, I have been a little busy and haven't posted recently.  We've had a lot happening since October.  First off...Landon is now 1!!!  I can't believe how fast that went by!  Fastest year of my life by far.  Here are the last 3 months of Landon's month pics I usually post.

I think we've been on auto pilot the past three months with all the holidays and activities going on.  Landon got to finish up his year with all the big holidays.  Halloween we did Trunk or Treat at our church and we all dressed up as pirates.

Over Thanksgiving our Lil Man got sick.  He had some kind of virus that kept him under the weather for 4 days...so he pretty much slept through Thanksgiving.

Tanner and I played softball through the second week of December and we finally won our first season.  It was a blast!!!!

And then came the whirl wind that was Christmas.  We had Christmas with my family two weeks before Christmas as well as our own Christmas at home.  Then we flew to Washington for a week to spend Christmas with Tanner's family.  Fun fact...this is the second Christmas we have gone to Washington and we have gotten a white Christmas at home!!!

After we got back from Washington, we had a day to recover and get things ready for Landon's first birthday.  We had family and some friends come up for his birthday.

That's our last 3 months in a nut shell.  Now that things have settled down I will try to be better about keeping up.  Sending lots of love your way in the new year!!!
